How and why to set and use anchors.

Add to Cart
Setting an anchor is a concept that gives a specific intention to something that we have all used without consciously thinking about how it works. Like a favourite stuffy that will calm a child, a song that puts us in a good mood, or that calming, familiar voice that settles us when we are feeling frazzled.

Once an anchor is set, it can be used in any situation or at any time to move emotions to a calmer, more relaxed state. When undesired feelings arise, engaging the anchor may bring a brief glimpse of that relaxing memory but, more noticeably it will shift the emotional state and relax the body.
