Anxiety
An Appointment With Susan, Nighttime was developed to assist in alleviating anxiety, recounting a young lady's morning routine and a trip to a counsellor’s office. This guided meditation emphasizes that there are many actions that we are in control of that will keep us mentally healthy. Susan, through the counsellor’s voice describes her healthy habits, getting a good night’s sleep, eating a nutritious breakfast, as well as her practice of noticing all that there is to be grateful for. Susan also demonstrates her ability to think beyond her own assumptions when contemplating her interactions with others, and the differences in families, and situations which influence our perceptions, and in calling the counsellor has recognized her need to find someone to talk to.
